Landén Haus markets homes across the United States on behalf of the people who own them. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Landén Haus.

This policy covers this website and the texts, calls and emails that follow from it.

We collect only what you give us and what our conversations with you create.

If you ask to see a home: your first and last name, your mobile number, the home you asked about, the areas and the city you are looking in, any notes you add, your moving timeline, how ready your down payment is, and whether you would rather we text or email you. If you ask for a showing rather than a self-tour, you may also give us an email address.

If you join Home Alerts: your first and last name, your mobile number, an email address if you give one, the city you are interested in, any notes you add, and whether you would rather we text or email you.

If you join the Haus List as an investor: your first and last name, your email address, your mobile number, the states you buy in and a city in each if you name one, your purchase ranges, the property types you buy and your strategy if you give them, and whether you would rather we text or email you.

If you send us a question: your first and last name, your mobile number, an email address if you give one, your question, the home you were looking at when you asked, if any, and whether you would rather we text or email you.

With every form: the page you sent it from, the campaign that brought you here if the link you followed named one, and whether you ticked the box agreeing to texts, with the time you sent the form.

If you ask for a self-tour: a photo of the front of your ID, which you upload through a private link we text you.

If you text or call us: the messages, a record of each call, and any recording our phone provider makes of a call.

Calls with Landén Haus may be recorded. Our phone provider makes the recording, and we keep it with the rest of your details.

If you open a private deal page we sent you: a count that the page was opened. It does not record who opened it.

If we email you: whether our email provider reports the email as delivered, opened or returned.

To answer you and to arrange what you asked for: a showing, a self-tour, alerts about homes, or details of deals that match what you buy.

To check who you are before we give you access to an empty home. We send access details for a self-tour only after we have checked your ID.

To keep a record of what we told you and what you agreed to.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.

When you upload your ID photo through the link we text you, it goes straight from your phone to restricted storage. We never send it through a text thread, and it never has a public web address.

Only the Landén Haus team can open it, and only through a link that expires.

If you make an offer on a home, we share your details with the seller of that home.

The companies that run this site for us, each for its own part: Vercel hosts the site, Supabase holds our database and file storage, Quo carries our texts and calls, and Brevo carries our emails.

The company that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs of visits, such as the internet address of the visiting device and the pages requested, to run and protect the site.

Pages with a map load map images from OpenFreeMap. Your browser asks OpenFreeMap for those images directly, so OpenFreeMap receives your IP address, as any service your browser loads from does.

To place homes on our maps, we look up the addresses of the homes we list with the US Census Bureau’s address service. No information about you is sent to it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not trade it.

This site runs no advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, and sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

We send you automated texts only if you ticked the box agreeing to texts. If you text us first, a member of our team may reply to you by hand. The box is never ticked for you, and agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying a home. A self-tour does need texts, because the ID link and the access details are sent by text; you can ask for a showing instead without agreeing to texts.

Reply STOP to any text to stop our texts. We record the opt-out against your number and check it before every text we send. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

We send marketing email only to people who ticked a separate box agreeing to it.

Every marketing email says how to stop them. Reply to it, or write to haus@landenhaus.com, and we stop. If an email to you is permanently returned as undeliverable or reported as spam, we stop emailing that address.

We take no payments on this site and never ask for payment details here. Any deposit or payment for a home is arranged outside this site, under a separate written agreement.

We keep your information, including your ID photo, until you ask us to delete it. To ask, email haus@landenhaus.com and tell us the name and mobile number you gave us.

If you told us to stop texting you, we keep a record of that number’s opt-out, so that we never text it again by mistake.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email haus@landenhaus.com.

This site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email haus@landenhaus.com and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page.
